India is a country with one of the highest recorded population count, its vast cultural and heritage makes them unique. This is why it is no surprise that for a sport like cricket, they are the dominating country. Cricket for them was no joke and as such, they started the Indian Premier League (IPL) where teams from their eight states competed against one another. The league which usually takes up to 2 or 3 months each year became the first sport to be streamed live on YouTube. This would explain the massive crowd and attention it pulls in. There are processes and techniques involved in this sport like any other in the globe.
Due to the large crowd giving attention to cricket, a game was formed which would allow fans to be involved by acting as coaches based on how live matches and events go. This game is called the IPL Fantasy League, it is a game that allows users to have first hand experience at being the head of matches for Gameday matches. The goal here is to create a team of 11 players with a certain amount of money given by the producers of the game based on real-life cricketers and then earning points if the players do well in reality. The producers of the game made sure to invest time and energy to ensure the game was as close to the real deal that happens in the Indian Premier League. There are select rules and principles that surround playing of the IPL Fantasy League in which gamers can emerge winners when they make use of these rules and principles with extra reasoning and persistence. The first rule starts with the number of foreign players that can be signed into a gamers team, the number stands at 10 and a maximum of 4 starting in a Gameday.
Another rule strictly gotten from the real-world IPL is the position of at least one uncapped player in the squad for a single IPL franchise. The grading system used in the IPL Fantasy League follows the same principle as the league it was created from. Points are given based on how the players selected for a matchday perform in reality. The points differ based on various batting and bowling levels that are achieved in a match and all these points lead to the formation of a table used to score the gamer. For example, gamers are given 1 base point per run scored by each chosen cricketer, and batsmen receive grades based on their strike rate. There lies one out of 3 formats for playing the IPL Fantasy League which is the daily challenge.
For this, a gamer would assemble a virtual starting team each day to compete against teams made by others. Once the squad drafted for each day starts a match then, a player cannot change them unless that matchday ends and another would start. The advantage is that with good predictions of participants that will perform well each day, profitable grades fly into the quill of the gamer. Another format is the one that has the same duration as the normal Indian Premier League. Teams are created beforehand of each matchday and points are won accordingly. With all written, this would be a starting point to playing this Fantasy game to it's best.
