Baseball is a game which involves players in a field between two opposing teams who take turns batting and fielding. A player on one team throws a small round ball at a player on the opposing team who in turn tries to hit it with a bat. For instance, when you are in an opposing team and the ball is aimed at you, you will try and hit it with a bat. As a player, if you hit the ball you have to run round the field instead of standing at one point. This enables you to make a stop at the best spot that enables you see the ball and aim for it easily. With this technique, you add more points to your team and increase its chances of winning.
This game is the best sport because it has rules that guide the players on what to do and, what not to do while playing. Before you start playing, the game's start time is communicated to both coaches who inform their players. In case of any changes made, the information too will be communicated to let every player know of the changes before the start of the game. There are ten to twelve players in each team with only ten taking positions. The additional two act as replacement in case of any emergency such as injuries or when one of the falls sick.
All names must appear in the batting order and, the order is to be maintained until the end of the game. Players may be taken in and out of the field as the coaches wish. You can be added to the team if one feels unwell or tired and, cannot perform to the team's expectations. This is done to avoid losing points to the opponents during a match. With the changes taking place, the batting order remains the same throughout the game.
Every player must play the outfield at least once during a game. This creates equality among the team members promoting unity which enables them work together to achieve the best results. A helmet is to be worn by each team member even when running bases and, throughout the game. This helps protect you from head injuries in case the ball hits you and, your eyes are also protected because they are very fragile. When you get an injury, you cannot play but you will be forced to leave the game letting another person replace you.
Food and drinks are not allowed in the field once you assemble to play because you can encounter cases of chocking. Shorts are not permitted by the coaches and, no personal electronic devices such as phones are allowed when playing. This causes distraction which may limit you from concentrating during the match. Long pants, athletic footwear and team shirts must be worn to protect your body and for flexibility. These items are mostly distributed by the team managers and coaches according to the orders given. Baseball is the only game where the winning team continues to play the game and, any team can make a comeback any time. Unlike other sports, the winning team gets a certificate and a trophy and wait for the next game or season.
